Riding the Magic Carpet

Lindsey loved ski school and graduated from the magic carpet to the chair lift!  She even got the edgie wedgie which is a tie to hold her ski tips together.  These three photos of her on the magic carpet sum up her little personality

Why does this photo really say it all about Lindsey?

1. She is wearing mom's glasses and looks fantastic

2. She is eating french fries. Without them she would like die of starvation.

3. She is hamming it up for the camera. When she is on she is on, and when she isn't there is no changing her mind--she is as stubborn as they come.

And that is why we love her!

Napa Fun even on a cloudy day

Lindsey has a notebook for coloring at Pop Pops house that she uses pastels in, and given how much energy she puts into her pasteling, she has to do it outside--the pastel dust gets everywhere. Even on a gray day Calistoga is gorgeous, and Lindsey was hamming it up for the camera.

Food From the Heart

Dan poured Jones Family Vineyards at Food from the Heart for Slow Food last night, so I brought the kids down to the Ferry Building for Dinner at Taylor's. They loved dinner, liked seeing Daddy, and thought the food was only ok at the Ferry Building. (Although Lindsey LOVED her salami cone from Boccalone.)

The best part for Lindsey was clearly the music. She made a new friend as she danced away to a local band.

Despite our best efforts Lindsey refused to smile after we got Pop-Pop's Christmas Tree for Napa. She LOVED getting all the decorations out, but you wouldn't know it from her face here.

We took some photos of the girls this weekend because they looked cute for Jamie's Bday Party, but also for once they actually posed for photos...miracle!

We made our annual trip to Stanly Lane pumpkin patch. The girls picked
huge pumpkins this year. They got rid of the haunted school bus but
now have cute photo cut outs.

Second day of little school

Lindsey stayed for lunch bunch at little school and fell asleep in the
car on the way home. She was exhausted. Between school and being
afraid of the dark and not sleeping at night she really needed a nap.
The blue around her lips is purple lipgloss she found and applied so
beautifully.

Here is Maddie on her first day of 3 yr old camp at Little School, and Lindsey today. Ironically, they are wearing the same pants...odd coincidence?

Lindsey Starts Little School!

She had her first visit to Todd and Megan's classroom today and you think she had been going to Little School for years....no fear, just walked right in and played.

Here she is outside school....

Lindsey wants to go to Kindergarten...or at least Little School.

School doesn't start for Lindsey until NEXT monday, and she is itching to get back to a routine. She was copying everything Maddie did this morning...so here they are going to Kindergarten at Burkes...notice that Lindsey is standing EXACTLY like her big sister....

Lindsey at Jonathan's Wedding

The whole family went north to celebrate the wedding of Jonathan and Kelli and it was great fun. The kids were the life of the dance floor for awhile, and had a wonderful time with the apple cider for the cake toast.

Lindsey got a big girl room this weekend thanks to our friend Josef's talents! She loved it. No surprise its pink, pink, pink

Lindsey still isn't sure if she likes the snow, but the ariel kickboard sled that Violeta gave her certainly made it a lot more fun!

Lindsey didn't quite get that you had to jump up to seem like you were weightless in space, but she had fun all the same....
