First Cry!

Tipping the scales at 9 lbs 10 ounces Lindsey is a big baby and classified as LGA (large for gestational age) Many a dr couldn't believe I didn't need a c section....

I waited too long for you to come out, but you seem pretty perfect!

Due date come and gone

We spent our due date (June 25th) in Heather and Greg's pool hoping some swimming would get Little Miss Lindsey motivated to join us all, but she seems super happy in my tummy so she will not be sharing birthday with Grandma Sally.

The next plan is to see the Dr. on Wednesday the 28th and then try induction again on July 3rd if she has not arrived before that!

No Baby Today

After a frustrating 10 hours of pitocin (at really high levels I might add) we determined that Lindsey did not want to be born on June 17th, and left the hospital as we arrived, 39 weeks pregnant.

We will know more about a due date on Weds the 21st, and will let everyone know what Lindsey has to say about joining the world...
